Where we stand

Ainaa is a stylist you talk to, which means it works best when it knows something about you. That is a reasonable thing to be careful about. This page is what we would want to read before typing our own name into a new service.

The short version: you can use Ainaa without an account, we ask for the least we can, we do not sell anything about you, and you can delete it all yourself.

You do not have to sign in

The whole styling experience works as a guest. No name, no email, no phone number. Signing in exists so your taste, your saved looks and your bag survive to your next visit, not as a gate in front of the product.

If you never sign in, we never learn who you are.

What we do not do

We are often asked
Sell your personal data

We do not, and we run no ad network
We are often asked

Where we stand
Typed text is masked in session replay, including for signed-in users
We are often asked

They are used to answer your request and are not made publicly reachable

How your data is handled

In transit. Everything between your device and Ainaa is encrypted.

At rest. Your account, your conversations and your taste profile live in our own systems, not in a shared consumer service.

Access. Production data is reachable only by the people who need it to run and support the service.

Minimisation. We ask for the least we can and keep it for no longer than it is useful. Conversations are removed automatically once the stylist no longer needs them. This is deliberate: data that no longer exists cannot be lost.

Who else is involved

Running a stylist means using specialist providers: model providers to generate the styling, infrastructure providers to host it, analytics to understand what is working, and speech providers when you turn voice on. No payment processor, because we take no payments.

Each receives only what it needs for its own task, and none of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes. The Privacy Policy sets out the categories and what each one handles.

Your controls

Deleting your account removes your profile, taste signals, conversations, saved looks and bag. Anything you actually bought lives with the brand you bought it from, not with us, so any record of it sits with them, and they are who to ask about it.

What we do not claim

We are a young company and we would rather be straight with you than impressive. So, plainly: Ainaa holds no security certifications today. We have not completed an external audit or a third-party penetration test. We do not publish an uptime figure.

When any of that changes, it will appear on this page with the date and what it covered. Until then we would rather show you an honest short list than a badge that means nothing.

Reporting a security problem

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, write to security@ainaa.ai and tell us what you found and how to reproduce it. We will acknowledge you, keep you posted while we fix it, and we will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and does not access or alter other people's data while doing so.

For anything else about your data, write to privacy@ainaa.ai. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms.
